Brief

When cult photographer Richard Corman re- discovered 66 ‘lost’ polaroids of Madonna shot in 1983 in her raw pre-fame grungy glory he knew this was something special that had to be shared with the world. Joining forces with NJG Studio they produced ‘Madonna 66’ limited edition 'art book' to showcase these finds and that reflected their unique beauty.

Strategy

We put together a comprehensive 360 media strategy that delivered large ‘exclusive’ print features encouraging this project to go viral. Madonna 66 received over 170 million hits and was covered in America Vogue, Vogue Paris, Vogue Spain, Vogue Germany, Vogue Russia, Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar, W, V Magazine, CR Book, The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, Evening Standard Magazine, Stylist and Attitude.

Results

A support campaign was orchestrated with the V&A where Richard hosted a talk as part of their photography season.
